The Minivisc Plus study includes 163 eyes, but the randomised comparative phase includes 54. The remaining phase is not a randomised comparison.
Why it matters
The size of the comparative sample matters when interpreting device evidence.
Keep in mind
Partially comparative design; short follow-up. Do not interpret all 163 eyes as randomised evidence.
